Blogging and Podcasting

Thingamablog is a cross-platform, blogging application and RSS feed reader. It allows you to easily publish your own weblog without the need for any HTML knowledge. Unlike most other blog tools, it does not require the use of any third party services, but publishes the blog directly to the FTP server or network location that you specify. The interface provides a neatly organized overview of your blogs and a word processor like interface to create new entries. WildVoice Podcast Studio makes it easy to record and publish your own podcasts online. The program provides an interface that enables you to record your podcast with your microphone, add background music and insert a variety of sound effects (meow, gun shot, dog bark and more than 100 others) to add a professional touch to your recording. You can organize your recordings in in multiple segments, which are later combined to create a single MP3 file. If you want to take it further, you can sign-up for a free account with WildVoice, that allows you to automatically upload and publish your podcast on their site.

RSS Builder is an easy to use program to create or maintain one or more RSS feeds for your web site. It provides an easy to use interface that lets you add topics, links and content, and then upload the .rss (v 2.0) file to your web server, using the built-in FTP client. Other features include a built-in HTML editor, XML preview, style sheets and support for enclosures/ podcasting.

FeedSpring makes it easy to generate an RSS feed for your site. You can type the information in the provided form fields, and the program will generate the RSS file for you. It also offers XML preview and a built-in browser preview, and allows you to manage multiple channels. FeedSpring currently only supports RSS v 2.0 feeds.
