spam filter Aggressive Spam Defense can keep your inbox clean by deleting unsolicited emails before they reach your inbox. It comes pre-configured to detect most common spam, and can further learn from your usage, and also easily be customized. An attractive interface allows you to assign weights to each of the detection keywords and phrases. In addition to email content, sender and subject, it can also filter based on the attachment type, allowing you to automatically delete potential email worms before downloading them. The program checks your POP account and displays a color-coded list of your incoming mail, marking all spam in red, good mail in green and all others in yellow. If you want, it can also delete spam automatically, so you don`t have to deal with it at all. You can preview each message, using a safe-preview and then choose to delete it or keep it.

I recently purchased v2.31 of ASD and since installation have been impressed by the features that prevent the arrival of the customary and all too familiar spam-mails that frequently polluted my 'Inbox'. The color coding readily identifies wanted/unwanted e-mails and the ability to safely preview 'suspect' e-mails is a very useful and beneficial feature. Having the capacity to import the address book from the E-mail client into the 'Friends' list accelerates the learning process of ASD and being pre-configured to detect spam makes it a very efficient utility from the outset to combat spam. In my experience, ASD integrates extremely well with the AV and Firewall installed on my PC without any conflict occurring. During the setting-up and my own learning process I sought support from the developers and this was received on each occasion in an extremely prompt, efficient and professional manner.
