visual HTML editing BlockNote for the Net is an easy to use WYSIWYG HTML editor. It offers an easy to understand interface without clutter and confusing options. You can create a web page similar to creating a document in your word processor - just type the text, select fonts from a drop menu, apply formatting styles and more. You can also insert images and even paste rich text sections while maintaining the original formatting. BlockNote includes helper dialogs to create tables, insert URLs and more. The program contains enough HTML features to create a basic web page without confusing the user with too many complicated dialogs and features that he may not need. The finished web page can also be sent by email or exported as PDF or MHT Web Archive document.

Blocknote is perfect for the times you want to put up simple, straight forward web pages and do it quick. I think setting up tables with Blocknote is it's best feature. It's simpler, faster and easier than anything I've ever used. Setting the default fonts is super easy too. I use Blocknote a lot of times for setting the basic page layouts - it's that efficient -- and sometimes move on to other software to add more bells and whistles. One downside: if your HTML page is laden with scripts or other tricky formatting, don't open it with Blocknote...it just isn't designed for that and you may lose some data. If you need easy to make tables, set up basic web pages fast and want good control over your page layout, try Blocknote. showShow review details

Will remove your pages formatting / alignment on previously saved work. If your going to use a wysiwyg then go with NVU, trust me. showShow review details

Excellent. If you are looking for a WYSIWYG editor that is fast and easy to use......this one is a "KEEPER". I've been using the original free version of Front Page Express for years which has a continuous problem, locking up when I try to insert hyperlinks. Nice to have an editor that is as easy to use as Express and doesn't lock up on me. NICE WORK. showShow review details
