anti-phishing browser add-on Comodo Verification Engine is an anti-phishing add-on that works with all popular browsers and automatically verifies the identity of many commercial websites. To make sure that the site you are doing business with is what it claims to be, you can simply hover your mouse over the company logo and a green border will appear around your browser window (and optional audio alert), indicating that the site has been verified. Verification Engine can detect advanced phishing scams by verifying the IP address of the actual site, as well as form submissions via login box. The program can only verify sites that are registered with the service, however this covers most large online merchants and financial institutions. Comodo Verification Engine works with Internet Explorer and Firefox.
