region-free DVD player DVD X Player is a region-free/code-free software DVD player that can play all region DVDs on all DVD drives even if you have changed the region code multiple times. In addition, it includes a Macrovision-free feature which enabales you view DVDs through your TV-out device without obstruction or distortion. You can also enable Operation-free mode and skip pre-movie messages and announcements. In addition DVD X offers all the features of a quality software DVD player, as well as support for Dolby Digital 5.1(AC-3), Dolby Surround, multi-channel decoding, Digital Theater System (DTS), Dolby AC-3 through S/PDIF, DVD-Video, VCD/SVCD and other media formats. Other features include a bookmark manager, scene capture, parental control settings, full resolution video playback at 720x480, wide screen and more. (Editor`s note: Due to lack of access to non-region 1 DVDs, we did not yet test the region-free features)

This is no doubt a good player with many features, have used it prior and tried it again. I noticed I couldn't get .iso to work, so assume it's not supported. Opening VOB caused crash, not sure why. If not supported, fine but needs fixing I think. I think the price is WAY to high for this, I can use others for the same thing and no $. It would be worth buying if it was much cheaper but until then, I'll use VNC among others. I pay enough for DVD's , I'm not spending 80 bucks on software to watch them. showShow review details

It's easy to use, quite good interface based on [..], supports skins, nice options, etc... The only problem I had is that it didn't wanted to play *.VOB files instantly. Needs some time to open it and maybe more. Similar to other DVD players but better showShow review details
