delete the content of index.dat files Index.dat Analyzer enables you to view and delete the content of index.dat files which contain references to cookies, browser history and cached pages. These references are normally not removed by simply clearing the browser cache and can contain references to files, even if they have already been removed - you may have deleted your cache, but the index.dat file still shows the references to those deleted files. Index.dat Analyzer enables you to review those entries, and optionally delete them, or, if the files still exist, you can extract them to a folder of your choice.
