CD/DVD burning solution InfraRecorder is an Open Source CD/DVD burning solution with an easy to use interface and and advanced set of features that enables you to create data, audio, video and mixed-mode discs and disc images (ISO and BIN/CUE). It automatically converts your music files to the proper format for Audio CDs that can be played on any standard CD player. You can also copy discs, erase rewritable discs using four different methods, work with multi-session discs and more.

I like programs that are simple. This is simple. It does a good job and does it quickly. Just unzip the file and it's ready to run. No installation required. It does come with a detailed help file, but I haven't had a need for it yet. It's fairly intuitive. showShow review details

It's not fancy, what it IS however, is great at what it does. It's fast, light weight and works great. Actually, it's surprisingly fast, not so much at the burning, (which is always limited to the media)but putting a compilation together, it's spot on. I use Ashampoo burning studio, never had issues with it but I like this little program just as much... maybe... better for what it has? showShow review details

This little application is a great tool for burning CD and DVDs. It includes all the standard functions you would find in Roxio and other commercial applications. Unlike other free programs it does not include any ad-ware or spyware. You may want to visit the author's website for the full install version. The copy provided here is the portable version, however it functions just like the full version and can put on a flash drive. Overall this is one excellent product! showShow review details
