registry search tool RegScanner enables you to full-text search your registry for specific keywords contained in registry keys and/or values. You can set advanced search options to narrow down the results, restrict the overall number of results and limit the search to specific areas of the registry. The results can be exported to .reg file or HTML report, and double-clicking on an entry will open Regedit with the selected key.RegScanner can also be used to quickly jump to a specific registry key by copying it to the clipboard and using the "Open Clipboard Text in RegEdit" feature.

I've been using versions of RegScanner since my Win98 days. They've all been tiny and fast. To find all the occurrences of a particular string takes this program less time than RegEdit takes to find a single occurrence - or so it seems! It can take you direct to an occurrence's location in the registry tree - no need to work your way down a level at a time, as you'd have to in RegEdit. showShow review details

I was plagued with Picasa2 registry entries to the point where I was about to write zeros then I discovered this little guy. It is very easy to use and finds the entries so easily it makes it refreshing to work with the register. No guess work with this program. Two thumbs up for RegScanner. JMM showShow review details
