I have been using it for years 5 stars by lloydstewart32 Mar 28, 2012
With Cookie Monster it is possible to have it save and update the cookies that you need for certain websites that you select. With this you can preserve only the cookies you want separating them from the same websites advertising and tracking cookies. The way that I prefer to use it is to set the browser to accept the cookies that I want it to accept. Then when Windows is started the next time. Cookie monster will automatically delete the cookies that I had not set it to preserve that accumulated during the last session. If one wants to maintain an additional cookie it can easily be placed in the preserve cookies list at anytime before windows is restarted and the excess cookies from the previous session are deleted. It is also a simple matter to change your mind and not save a particular cookie for any website. During the process of all of this it catches and deletes the spyware and advertising cookies along with the others that it automatically deletes. Cookie Monster did not work with the current Firefox version the last time that I tried it. It does work very well for me with Internet Explorer 7 & 8 and Google Chrome running under Windows XP. It is listed to work under all of the browers that I have heard of. It is also listed to run under Windows 2000 thru Windows 7. Cookie Monster works so well I do not understand why it is not one of the most popular downloads available. showShow review details

This app worked great for several years, but starting with Firefox 3.5 (approximately) it is unable to work with Firefox. showShow review details
Simple but effective 5 stars by hercules212 Mar 20, 2010 (Read all my 9 reviews)
The problem with other cookie managers is that they don't segregate the cookies you want to keep for identity purposes (e.g., financial websites, etc) and those that are disposable when you finish browsing. Cookie Monster allows you to segregate the cookies you want to keep from those you don't and works for both IE and Firefox. The program installer creates a separate icon that allows you to run the program in the background to delete cookies. This icon can be put in your startup folder so that every time Windows starts, any cookies are deleted. The icon can also be put in your Quicklaunch Bar so that you can delete cookies at any time. The interface is clear and intuitive. Don't let the whimsical name fool you, this is a great program. showShow review details
Very handy 5 stars by leucippus Sep 16, 2007 (Read all my 18 reviews)
After spending an hour or so on the net, I inevitably collect 20 or 30 cookies that I don't want to keep. One click and they're gone, except for the ones I have preserved. Thanks! showShow review details
Simple and very effective 5 stars by Pondejim Aug 19, 2006 (Read all my 7 reviews)
I am using FireFox which this integrates well with. I am now in control of those "lurking" cookies. There were over 500 from unknown sources and a few I recognized, so I deleted the lot. Now I can save the ones I choose, after each session. It is simple to use and very effective. Top marks. Thank you. showShow review details

Cookie Monster does what it says. It eats cookies! You can make a list of cookies you'd like to save (both in Internet Explorer and Firefox--which are labeled in the interface), and then eat all the rest with a single click. It's not the most fully featured cookie manager on the market, but it does what I need. And you can't beat the price. showShow review details
